What Skin undertone are you?

When it comes to what undertone you are with your skin can be very daunting at times.
You want to find the right colours that will COMPLIMENT you! This goes for anythings from lipsticks to foundations! Once you find your right undertone you'll never have a problem again with finding that right lipstick or having a dilemma with foundation colours!

So lets get started!

Get out your wrists!

Cool Undertone

                                             

If your a cool undertone you will notice on your wrist that your veins are Blue 

Think- water,grass 

Notice that silver jewellery you can rock better than gold because of your cool undertone

Cool undertone people are usually fair and can never actually get a tan in the sun you'll notice you will just burn and become a lobster... like myself!

Usually people with cool skin tones have blue, green or grey eyes with blonde, brown or black hair.Cool skin tones usually have a pink or rosy undertone therefore thats your base for foundation! 

ALSO! pink undertones stay away from being a ghost! Even though you have pale skin its great to have a slight tinge of colour to you! Some cool tones also have a yellow cool tone to their skin 

Lip sticks that will compliment you 

Eye Shadows that will compliment your cool complexion the best are silver,magenta,white,pink shadows. shimmery cool pale colours-green purple blue and gold 

If your going out you could do e.g. a pink smokey eye

Neutral Undertone


If your a neutral undertone your veins will be blue-greeny or if you cant tell then you will be a neutral colour

your skin is neither pink/red/blue nor yellow/gold/peach, but somewhere in between.Your foundation will be towards the neutral tone selection
You could be more towards the cool side or more towards the warm side so playing around with afew different colours of foundation will help you find your perfect colour

You can rock silver or gold... and even rose gold jewellery for your skin type! actually can wear anything! because of your neutral undertone!! you can get away with anything lucky ducky ;)

Eye shadows a mixture between cool tones blue,green,violet and purple  and will compliment your look  silvery champagne and taupe colours

 Did you know.... Most women have neutral undertones.






Warm Undertone

Your veins will be slightly green/yellow

Warm tones remember anything that gives off a warmth colour to you think of things like fire or sun 

You also tan easily! perfect sun kissed skin 
Gold jewellery will look fantastic on you rather than silver

Your foundation colour will always be towards the darker or warmer tones

Lipsticks that will compliment you red,oranges and bronze lipsticks 

 wear eye shadows that are gold, copper, bronze or any of the earth tones 

In saying all of this, I'm not saying you cant wear a certain lipstick colour or you cant wear a certain eyeshadow because its going to look terrible on you, if you feel beautiful then wear it!

This is just simple guide line to just bring out more of your inner beauty to light with certain colours that will bring that out :)

It leaves a beautiful shimmer to your lips acting like a plumper as well as a shimmer lipgloss

Pro: Works reasonably well

con: Its too small to last very long :(

Dior Addict Lip Maximiser

Wow is all i can say, a little bit more pricey than the others but this dior lip maximiser is well worth your pretty pennies 

You can apply this under your regular lipstick or alone because it has a fleshy tone colour to it

It is a long-lasting plumping it last on my lips for at lest 3-4 hours without having to re-apply again but you will see your lips slowly decreasing

Pro: Its also a lip treatment that stimulates your lip collagen if used 15 days straight you'll see a reasonable result of increase of your lip size!

Cons: Pricey  

SO ladies you now have my secret weapon of bigger, fuller lips!

Oh my this month has seriously ran out the window... or should i  say THIS whole year has gone out the door!


Apart from the busy silly season approaching.During the lovely month of November i did do some purchases that i loved and as well hate.



When i find something i love, ill buy it over and over again because as you know in the cosmetic world if you find something you love stick to it! Until they decide to discontinue it.

Hourglass- Dim Light

This powder is amazing.
The hourglass DIM LIGHT is unlike any other powder i have used, what it actually does it blurs out any imperfections on your face.Still leaving a slight glow look to it as well.
It also enhances your skin when flash photography is involved, evening out your skin tone 

Ive made this my go-to finishing powder because i love the flawless look it gives to my face 

The range is quite big i have yet to checked out the others but 9/10 kisses to this! Best of all its talc,gluten,fragrance and nano-particles free! 

Revlon christmas set 2013 brushes

These are the cutest, when i saw these cute revlon brushes i couldn't say no!

They're great value I've never had a problem with revlon brushes. They are still good quality for what you pay for especially if your starting out using make-up brushes!

Ysl baby doll mascara 

I really loved this mascara it would give my eyelashes a really full look as well no clumpy mascara bits on my eye lashes. Even appearance in lashes

Con: This mascara really dried up quickly! which was really annoying i started using the wand to dip in other mascaras

Im hesitant to buy it again because I'm unsure if it was just the batch or just me? 

Estee Lauder LIMTED EDITION make up portfolio!

This is absolutely fantastic book of make up is the best if your starting out with eyeshadows or on the run with work because you can just stick it in ur bag its A5 size 

You get 2 lip glosses, a few mini brushes for on the go, 4 blushes which two are bronzers great for contouring! 

15 lip sticks-

THIRITY EYE SHADOWS! wow so many different looks you can accomplish, all your   basic colours are in this pallet! 

Correcteur perfection Long lasting concealer

 Meet the concealer  of your dreams ladies...say goodbye to the fine lines that show up as deep lines!

THIS concealer  is amazing i know its a little pricey but its seriously worth it!

I use to wear one concealer (not mentioning any names) but it just went into every little crease under my eyes and some lines that didn't even exist without conceal appeared!

This is nothing like the rest its so smooth,silky and textured under the eye not emphasising any unwanted lines

The price is worth it it'll last for ages as long as you seal it up tight.When applying you only need the smallest amount on the back of your hand or just applying 3 dots under both eyes!

When it comes to your own personal beauty bag, there is no need to over-fill it with junk that you're not going to use thru-out your day.

The essentials your only going to need what you have on your face during that day, so when packing your cosmetic bag think of what YOU need to use to touch up your face!

Think of the event as well, if your working then pack it as your basic cosmetic routine for work 

If its a night out, think what do i need to bring do i really need to bring all this make-up with me?

because you really dont! you'll be having a good time and when you've had afew.. trust me you wont care then that you just lost your Chanel blush.

5) Cotton tips ( this is to clear up ur eyeliner incase its smudged)

The Night Out

Before you freak out and stick a million things in your clutch... there is really no need to! you only need 1-3 max! Four is pushing it...

So bring what you feel is needed to make you feel more comfortable with your appearance.

Investing in a few mini brushes is also a fantastic idea just to put in your clutch/make up bag for a quick fix up
